I am a qualified Chartered Management Accountant with substantial experience in supporting different types and sizes of organisations, particularly in the not-for-profit sector.
Based in Kent and working with charities and CICs across London, the South East and throughout the UK.
I specialise in helping charities strengthen both financial and non-financial elements because finance should not sit in a silo but needs to integrate with other functions. This then supports effective decision-making and long-term sustainability. I work with clients in an agile and flexible way to ensure that they can access professional expertise “on tap”.
My passion lies in helping organisations maximise their impact through streamlined processes, improved financial literacy, and accessible information that empowers confident and informed decision-making.

I have extensive hands-on experience in operational and strategic charity finance, including managing restricted funds, grant tracking, Board reporting and working within Xero-led environments, enabling me to add value from day one. I am also familiar with the SORP requirements for charity finance reporting.

Do you work with charities of all sizes, or is there a minimum turnover/budget?
We work flexibly and can usually accommodate most requirements, get in touch to find out more
We already have a bookkeeper/finance manager in-house — can you work alongside them?
Yes, we are happy to work with your team either on a short term or long term basis. One of our passion is to empower your team to be confident in their work whilst being available to support with more complex and/or strategic areas of work
About the outsourced finance service
What does "monthly support" actually look like in practice?
This can range from day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, cash forecast, budget monitoring etc. We review the scope of work with you and agree the number of hours/days required each week/month. We can also offer a fixed fee so you have a clear understanding of your monthly commitments
Which accounting software do you use, and will we need to change what we're already using?
Our preferred software are Xero and FreeAgent as we find these to be better suited to the needs of charities and small businesses. We do, however, have clients who use other accounting software
About the fractional FD service
How many hours a month does fractional finance leadership typically involve?
This will vary depending on the size of your organisation, its operations and ongoing requirements. Because we are flexible, we are able to increase or decrease our hours with you as is necessary
Can you attend our board or finance committee meetings?
Yes, I can attend your board meetings as well as any finance sub committees as required.

Are you registered or recognised to carry out independent examinations?
Yes, I am a Chartered Management Accountant registered with and licenced by The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
Can you liaise directly with the Charity Commission on our behalf?
Yes, I am happy to do this. I can also liaise with HMRC and pension regulators on your behalf
